A hire car, normally with Automatic gearbox, is the preferred and suggested means of transportation to and from theme parks and attractions. Taxis are normally in abundance and value for money should you prefer not to drive. Car hire should be arranged at least 3 weeks before travelling – We recommend car hire reservations on line via www.Hertz.com (Kissimee Office on Highway 192) our recommended car hire specialist.
Hire cars can normally be returned to the airport regardless of collection location.

DRIVING IN THE USA FOR THE FIRST TIME.
For the first time visitor to the area from the UK we strongly recommend you arrange airport transfer to the Villa using our preferred Taxi Service who will ensure you are taken directly to the villa thereby avoiding delays collecting your hire car and the possibility of becoming lost en route.
Arrangements can usually be made to collect the hire car early the next day – either a driver will collect you from the villa or a taxi arranged to take you to the Car Rental office at no extra cost.

From personal experience, if there are 2 drivers in the party take turns to drive.
Whilst one of you is driving the other be the navigator - an extra pair of eyes to spot the vehicle sneaking up on the inside or the outside when attempting to change lanes.
Don’t be intimidated by the wide roads/fast cars & large trucks – keep to the speed limits and give yourself plenty of journey time.
